(“Men in line, article turning”)
Critics and reviewers are a part of your work life even in the Creative fields. There are many times when you have to face or in other words engage with journalists and critics.
What is Criticism? lets understand the meaning of it, when we talk about criticism we do not mean talking about negative comments on the work which is done. In fact we talk about a way of presenting your work, its not always positive comments when being criticized to be honest. Criticism is an evaluative form of telling somebody about their creative piece. To criticize does not mean to find fault, basically criticism is an active argument or in other words it can be an exploration of different sides of an issue. One of the most famous critics of all time in American film was (“Roger Ebert”)
What is a review and a reviewer?
A review is a evaluation of a publication, company or even a movie. Games are even being reviewed nowadays. There are many ways of reviewing things in this current world. And who reviews this stuff ? a reviewer obviously! (“Trusted Reviews”)
A reviewer is a person who reviews books, games, movies, etc he/she judges it in his/her way and breaks down the ideas for us to understand what the plot is, what is the detail behind it or even why is it important to see it or use it. Peer- reviewer is a principle mechanism in which the research quality is judged. Editors choose reviewers when their knowledge and understanding is most likely to be close to the topic of the paper and invite them to review the paper. Journal publishing peer-reviewed articles on the other hand are highly dependent on reviewers who volunteer their time and knowledge. for example, In many cases at least two reviewers are invited to evaluate an article.

Great blog post! A critic is essentially someone who finds an argument to generate regarding the product or service they are critiquing. A review is someone who rates it as good or bad.

Do you feel that reviewers who are paid to review an item are more biased because they are being paid??? (just a random thought that popped into my head while reading your post)

Good thing on explaining the difference between the two many people think that their work doesn’t affect others and with little negative response they will get discouraged not meeting the audiences expectations.
